I'm working full-time in a grade 6 class until the end of the school year. It's a challenging class, but I'm having so much fun! It's so hard to be away from Vi during the week but I know that summer is near and we will get eight glorious weeks to spend together. I really believe that the Lord leads us in peace. I feel a peace about working and I know that I'm suppose to be working with these kids, but it's still hard to be away from my little girl. It's also a challenge to find the energy to take care of things on the home-front (laundry, cooking, cleaning) after an exhausting day of work...thank goodness I have the MOST amazing husband who is not only so so helpful, but so so understanding.

It's so fun watching Violet grow. Luke and I find ourselves just looking at her and saying, "Um, when did she get so big!" This afternoon Luke said, "Look at her feet! They're SOOO big! Well, not in a disproportionate way....but she's just getting SO BIG!" She's starting to take a few steps, but she's still quite the sketchy little walker. Her vocabulary expands daily. The newest additions are: Hi, "soos" (soother), light(which I assume she learned from a boy at her day care), Ella, bug. She loves to dance and when she's playing she will just start humming or singing to herself. I love when we are driving and she just randomly (to me at least) starts saying, "Otto, Otto, Otto" (who is the doggy that lives upstairs). It's just so amazing to watch her grow and develop. What a blessing.

Beautiful

"What's that?"

"Otto, Otto, Otto!"
